Eric Wicks exclusively represents clients in State Court. Mr. Wicks handles both felonies and misdemeanors. Prior to joining the law firm of Ohle and Ohle, Mr. Wicks worked for the Monroe County State Attorney’s Office. During his tenure with the State Attorney’s Office Mr. Wicks worked in both the County and Circuit Courts. Mr. Wicks’ caseload ranged from misdemeanors to complex felonies. In addition to his case and trial work, Mr. Wicks attended numerous seminars provided by the Florida Prosecuting Attorney’s Association with regards to Basic and Advanced DUI skills. Mr. Wicks’ varied background can provide you with the confidence that can only come from someone with a varied legal experience.
Mr. Wicks is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Brevard County Bar Association, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, The National Association of Hispanic MBA’s, and the Sport’s Lawyers Association.
Mr. Wicks career began as an assistant equipment manager for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After leaving the Buccaneers, Mr. Wicks graduated from the University of South Florida. Afterwards, Mr. Wicks attended law school at Stetson University College of Law, where he graduated with a dual degree JD/MBA. After law school, Mr. Wicks chose to work outside of law. Mr. Wicks worked as the Director of Baseball Operations for the New York Yankees. After his employ with the Yankees, Mr. Wicks chose to concentrate on law.
Mr. Wicks is a first generation American and is fluent in Spanish. |
